This is the start of my newest and current running projects. My aim was to construct a bed out of pallets, in the style of a large chest with secret compartments and hingeless lids that appear flawless. Regretfully I rushed into peicing it together due to on and off rain, no excuses I rushed. This is a part of the first half I have build, currently stable but I regret not testing out my new knowledge of joinery on this wood. As I am building compartments inside of the bed I will be testing out this new knowledge then, so the only traces of my use of joinery will be on the inside. I do enjoy the image the wood has though, and a varnish finish to the completed bed will make it look beautiful. Unfinished due to a lack of wood, I will be completing this bed over the course of the next few weeks. This is one of my slow running projects.
